For many years, Changing Tunes has been successfully delivering a programme in the South and South West using music teaching, rehearsing, recording, performance, improvisation and composition to aid the rehabilitation of prisoners and ex-prisoners.
A key success factor for the charity is the continuity of work with people after release to make music and offer mentoring and practical help. Currently, 85% of the participants do not reoffend within the first two years of release.
It is now continuing to deliver this tried and tested model in London and the South East. You can read the latest newsletter from Changing Tunes (London and South East) here.
