Showstoppers: BYMT Advanced Musical Theatre Cabaret Evening – Friday 17 March 2017, 7.30pm

On Friday 17 March 2017, BYMT Advanced Musical Theatre presents Showstoppers, a cabaret style night featuring songs from hit shows including Chicago, Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, Dogfight, Hairspray, Hamilton, Rent, Kinky Boots and many more.

This event’s purpose is to raise money for AMT’s production of Dogfight in April 2017. There will be a raffle and cake sale in the interval. Please bring your own refreshments.

Tickets: Adults £5, concessions/students £3, Under 12s £2, available from the Box Office.

Bromley Philharmonic Choir, Autumn Concert – Sunday 6th November, 7pm

bromleyphil-nov16On Sunday 6th November at 7pm, the Bromley Philharmonic Choir host their Autumn Concert, An Evening of Mozart, at St Barnabas.

It includes his “Requiem Mass in D Minor” (K. 626). This was composed in Vienna in 1791 and left unfinished at the composer’s death on December 5, with a completion by Franz Xaver Sussmayr the following year. The Choir will also be performing Mozart’s “Coronation Mass in C Major” (K. 317), completed in 1779 in Salzburg, after Mozart’s return to the city and “Misericordias Domini”, written four years earlier when Mozart was only nineteen which is considered a minor masterpiece.
